"June Moon" from the great series The Campbell Playhouse aired March 24, 1940 on CBS, sponsored by Campbell's Soup. This program has a studio audience and features the funny story about a song writer from Schenectady who arrives in New York with plans to conquer Tin Pan Alley. Jack Benny, Bea Benaderet, Benny Rubin, Ernest Chappell (announcer), George S. Kaufman (co-author), Orson Welles (producer, director, host, performer), Ring Lardner (co-author). Jack manages to get in a remark about Fred Allen.
